This policy describes the public FLPCE website and the way it currently works. FLPCE is an independent digital education initiative. The public site is designed to let visitors browse project information and educational resources without creating an account.

Information you provide

Browsing public pages does not ask you to submit personal details. The contact form opens your own email application rather than submitting data to a website form endpoint. If you choose to send an email, FLPCE will receive the information you include and may retain it in the mailbox used to respond. Please do not send passwords, financial details, or other sensitive information through general enquiries.

Browser preferences

The public site stores your language choice and dark-mode preference in your browser’s local storage so those interface choices can persist. The privacy-preference control can also remember your selected optional categories. These are browser storage entries rather than HTTP cookies. Technical information and service providers

When you request a webpage or asset, hosting, security, or content-delivery providers may process technical information such as your IP address, browser/device information, timestamps, and requested URLs as part of delivering and protecting the service. Some site assets are requested from third-party providers, which may receive technical request information. FLPCE does not control the independent privacy practices of those providers.

The separate account area

The account area is separate from public browsing and may use sign-in credentials, authentication services, and a session cookie. Account-specific processing depends on the functionality and services configured there. Do not assume that browsing this public website and using the account area involve identical data practices.

Analytics and advertising

The public site does not currently have analytics or advertising tools intentionally enabled. If that changes, this policy and the privacy preference controls should be updated before any optional tracking technologies are activated.
